    to restore dry erase boards that are hard to erase: spray a clean board with wd40, wipe dry with paper towels. the wd40 fills in the dried pores of the board that hold in marker ink, making it easier to erase. I wonder if my school would let me do this with my large whiteboard..?

You can use Febreeze to clean a dry erase board that just wont erase (because the ink is very dried on) . Spray the board and wipe, it also helps recondition old dry erase boards.
