Oh well... Its a sad truth many relationships, marriages end, how a man handles it in front of his child/ren will determine the relationship he will have with them. So many throw it away on selfishness and anger only to then blame others for the mistakes that cause them their children. Divorce is between parents not parent and child. Pray for children from broken homes everywhere.
It's not always easy, but I have done my absolute best to shelter my wee ones from the effects of divorce with a difficult person. They may not recognize it now, but experience tells me they will respect me for it later!!
Divorce is a form of symbolic loss that children could be struggling with. These books could be used to start a conversation about how a child is feeling. It could also help show children that they are not alone and that other families deal with and overcome divorce.
