Isaac Ingalls Stevens (March 25, 1818 – September 1, 1862) was the first Governor of Washington Territory, a United States Congressman, and a brigadier general in the Union Army during the American Civil War until his death at the Battle of Chantilly. Ivica Jerak , 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D) Died August 25, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 42, of Houston; assigned to Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Aug. 25 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his position in Husaybah, Iraq.
December 25, 1966 In Hau Nghia Province 20 miles NW of Saigon (2 km from Cu Chi and 3/4 mile from Bob Hope's Show), a 25th Infantry Division patrol recieved fire from three of the enemy. US returned fire. There were no friendly casualties. Enemy losses were two enemy killed, two individual weapons and one russian-made radio.

Died of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his position while on patrol during combat operations in Baghdad, Iraq.
