One of the best way to enjoy fresh figs is to slice them in half as shown, stuff each half with gorgonzola or other mild blue cheese, wrap each one in a strip of prosciutto, and broil until the cheese melts. Serve with a sweet dessert wine. OMG! A sheer mouthgasm!
