This is the first image I have ever made in the New Forest which is crazy as I can be in the national park in under an hour from home. This is a very well photographed tree and I thought I would head here for a look, I couldn't believe the colours in the ferns, very autumnal considering it was a mid summer dawn. This is a two image vertical stitch, there was so much incredible detail here, almost made me wish I was using a large format camera for an hour or so!
