Libraries to dream, think, read, contemplate, marvel, wonder, ponder, solve, nap, and drift off into the abyss.

I want this in my future home. It probably won't happen, but I guess that's why they call them "Dream Homes"

How cool would it be to have a sailboat in the library? Kids would love reading in that.

That view! I would replace the bookshelf with a bed though, so I could look out the window and read all day

Two Story Library This was another "what if" moment... When this sunken library was in construction, I looked up and said "What if we did a catwalk around the room?"... This is the result- a rich wood-paneled two story library with a reading niche on the second level. The stained and scored concrete features a sharp navigational star design in the middle... -Design by Champagne Chic Interiors

I've always dreamed of having a real library (an entire room dedicated to books and reading). My books are spread throughout the home, some on shelves, the rest in precarious stacks on the floors. I'd love to have this library.

This will be another of my staircases and Amber Bevier and I will just sit on the stairs reading for hours.

Home library. Leather spines are beautiful, but I prefer libraries of books that belong to readers.

Gothic and dark. I kind of absolutely HAVE to have this in my house someday. With maybe some heavy velvet curtains and some leather clubchairs and a few dogs in front of the fireplace.
