Steve (September 19, 1949 - October 20, 1977) and Cassie Gaines (July 5, 1948 - October 20, 1977) both American singer and guitarist (the band Lynyrd Skynnyrd).

Steve Gaines of Lynyrd Skynyrd, wrote the song I Know a Little and played the rip-roaring solo. Sadly he died in a plane crash in 1977 which also killed the lead singer, Ronnie Van Zant.
