I've been meaning to read, On the Road by Jack Kerouac for years now. I'm finally getting around to it just when the movie is about to come out. Oh well, better late than never. Digging it so far!
The Jungle Book - I read this collection of short stories so that I could compare them to the Disney version. I'm such a geek for comparative literary analysis. Fun fact: this book used to be required reading for Boy Scouts because of the lessons contained within.
The Screwtape Letters - C.S. Lewis This hit me in so many ways! I love how Lewis is timeless--the issues that are brought up are just as relevant today as they were in the 1930s and 1940s.
