I’ve only just come across Apeseven, who has taken part in the Sidewayz show in Sydney raising money for the Voice charity. He grew up in the 1980′s Sydney skateboard scene. Spending most of his time exploring industrial areas and listening to hip hop, he lived on a healthy dose of anime, skateboard art and graffiti. Apeseven predominantly approaches work with a street art perspective, utilizing stencil, freehand aerosol, and traditional brush techniques.
To describe Cryptik’s art in a nutshell, it would be: Occident meets Orient, cool Western art displaying protagonists and symbols of the Eastern world.
