"On the western side of Kauai is the ten-mile long Waimea Canyon, also called the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific.' On milepost 18 is Kalalau Point--stand on the top of 4,000-foot tall cliffs that suddenly drop down to the sea to give you this view. It's pretty hard to take a bad picture of Kalalau in my opinion." I believe this is a photo of the historic buildings at the Slide Rock State Park entrance. if you know, or own the copyright, please let me know. if I'm correct, awesome views of the canyon walls & Oak Creek Canyon as it winds under the road bridge & forms Slide Rock. I first visited in 1968, 1973 when there was no park or parking lot.
