An area city is so proud of it's manufacturing, there is now an exhibit highlighting all the town's work. We are talking key components in everything from airplanes to milk cartons made right here in East Tennessee. Inside Morristown's old high school, you'll find the Rose Center. While the center normally focuses on the arts, for the rest of this month you'll find an exhibit highlighting industry in the area.
The old Goodson home on east 1st N St was owned by the family who started the JFG company in Knoxville. They started off with a grocery store in downtown Morristown. J. Floyd Goodson was his name and he had this home built. It's still there and still in good condition.
Approaching Bethesda Church in Morristown, Tenn. Referred to as a time capsule, a lot has happened here. Built in 1835, the church was later used as a hospital for both wounded Union and Confederate soldiers. One of its interesting features is its double entrances. A Presbyterian law forbade women from entering and leaving from the same ones.
