This is something different for me. It is an interview style video with my wife, Diane about a past-life regression she had conducted with a client. It is one of many fascinating stories. I included some public domain pictures from the Library of Congress (check the rights carefully) and added moving mattes, vignette effects and pans and zooms. I added a touch of appropriate music with the images to convey the emotions of the story with these images.
Yet another video I did based on a page from my wife's book. It starts with the pain, stress and flows to the solution, trust. It was fun to get the images to flow with the music. I slowed down a couple of clips like the girl dancing so it would flow better with the music.
"Worry Release" is a video based on an incident where a client of my wife's (Diane L. Ross) was worried about relatives injured in the Kenya terror attacks at the mall there. Live footage of my wife "talking on the phone" in front of a green screen and other chromakey effects. I got to shoot little odds and ends of my wife to use in this one. I think the music transitions bolster the progression of the story.
Yet another promo video. I have never spent so much time on a video considering it's length as I am in the midst of learning After Effects. First time using 3d camera tracking and application of flares from Videocopilot. I spent a long time looking for the right music and applied several subtle sound effects also. As usual I learned a lot and I feel they are getting better.
This was another interesting video to work on. I did some fascinating research and learned a few things. Then, I got it in my head to give it that spy/conspiracy vibe when I started writing the script about the CIA involvement. Loved using the music and images to give it that covert feel. The picture of my wife on the thumbnail was a wee bit over the top but great fun!
This was another promo video. The thing that stood out for me was my first real dabbling in color grading using Adobe Premiere. The new version has expanded it's color grading tools. Just a touch here and there. I customized the soundtrack using Smartsound and one of their music pieces. I wanted it to build up to the point where Peter was introduced in the video and I think it worked. I feel good about how this one turned out.
, "Can I be hypnotized?" is an interview style video with some graphic elements added to keep it fun, for Diane L. Ross. I filmed this with 2 different type cameras, which is hard enough to look the same, but forgot to white balance them. So, lots of time in post color grading, etc. Lesson learned the hard way!
This is another rodent strobe light video I did. I was puttering around with my led light set on my greenscreen, and once again I adlibbed a pitch. Since I hate to wast anything, I spent several hours the next day adding in sound effects, backgrounds, music, motion graphics, etc. so that it made a nice little marketing video. I had to chromakey several stills to put in front of my main chromakey of the greenscreen. I used stuff from Digital Juice, Videoblocks, Presenter media, and Deposit…
Orlando Hypnotist Diane L. Ross is a video for my wife to promote her hypnosis practice. This video concentrated on Diane's presence and the idea that her office is central and a quiet safe environment. I did this using footage I shot on site. For you Youtubers, you may notice that Thumbnails you see before you click play are becoming more branded and easy to see a connection between all her videos. That's important for additional views on Youtube.
