Good to know (especially in my house, girls with long hair = lots of clogged drains).

How to unclog a sink drain without harsh chemicals, and IT WORKS! 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup vinegar, Let it bubble 15 minutes and chase it with a pan of boiling water. Light plunging needed on tough clogs. I just tried it on my kitchen sink and it cleared a tough clog in 20 minutes. I'll never buy drain opener again.

Pour 1/2 cup baking soda and then 1/2 cup of vinegar. Cover up the drain during the crazy chemical reaction. Wait 15 mins and pour a pot of boiling water. It totally clears up the clogged drain caused by my long hair and it's easier on the pipes than Drano. Works every time!!

De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil! Thanks, Susan Branch!

How to clean stainless steel pots and pans with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

(great to remember for move-out or in) Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths
