The Titanic was another big event in the 1910s. It suppose to be "The unsinkable ship" On April 15th, 1912, the ship hit an ice berg on its side which made the ship obviously sink and about half of the passengers and crew members died. Ladies and children of first and second class first. then ladies and children of third class (to their best ability) and men of first class. Most of the crew died and the rest either sank with the boat or froze in the ocean waiting for rescue boats to come.

Always been fascinated by this ship's history and amazing yet terrible history. Especially since when I was in elementary school and I realized that we share initials (my initials are RMS... the RMS Titanic).

I find it so sad that so many priceless things are left behind. I would LOVE to have pictures of my ancestors-they're very hard to come by.

Titanic infographic / This isn't a book, but really interesting stories. Especially that of William T. Stead. What I want to know is: if he went to sit and read a book while the ship sank after all the boats had gone, how did anyone know he did this?
