Altar at the Holy Sepulchre: Then I saw thrones,& those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus & for the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image & had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life & reigned with Christ a thousand years.(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the 1st resurrectoion. -Rev…

Philippi: For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain. But though we had already suffered & been shamefully treated at Philippi,as you know,we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much conflict. For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel,so we speak, not to please man,but to please God who tests our hearts -1Thessal…

Sun: “There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. -Luke 21:25-27(NABRE)

The writers of the four Gospels, were often symbolized by animals. Winged creaturees stood for Matthew, a lion for Mark, an ox for Luke, and an eagle for John. These symbols were based upon the vision of Saint John in the Book of Revelation (4:6–7). On this ivory plaque, the animal symbols, holding their Gospels, are arranged around the cross. At the center appears the Lamb of God, a symbol of Christ. Originally, this plaque would have decorated the cover of an Evangiliary.

After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ And you will say, ‘We ate and drank in your company and you taught in our streets.’ Then he will say to you, ‘I do not know where [you] are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!’ -Luke 13:25-27 (NABRE)

And they pleaded with him, “Send us into the swine. Let us enter them.”And he let them, and the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine. The herd of about two thousand rushed down a steep bank into the sea, where they were drowned. The swineherds ran away and reported the incident in the town and throughout the countryside. And people came out to see what had happened. -Mark 5:12-14(NABRE)

“So I say to you, Ask,& it will be given you; search,& you will find;knock,& the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives,& everyone who searches finds,& for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Is there anyone among you who, if your child asks for a fish, will give a snake instead of a fish?(Luke 11:9-11)If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" -Luke…

The burial-place of John the Baptist was traditionally said to be at Sebastia, West Bank. Historians Rufinus and Theodoretus record that the shrine was desecrated under Julian the Apostate around 362, and his bones being partly burned. A portion of St. John the Baptist's rescued relics were carried to Jerusalem, then to Alexandria, on May 27, 395, to a Coptic monastery in Lower Egypt. St. Jerome witnessed miracles being worked at this burial site of John the Baptist at Sebastia.
