Life gets easier when we do all of the above. He dwells within us, hears every thought and prayer, knows our hearts and our needs. But, even so, He wants to hear from us, He wants us to ask for His help and to put our faith in His taking care of our requests †
I used to start every day with this simple prayer. I don't think I stumbled upon it by accident. My dad gave me a copy of this when I was going through a very rough patch, full of anxiety & worry. I still keep it with me...it lifts me up when I fall.

I believe this for sure! When I was younger, I let my anger get the best of me. I would blow up, no care who I took it out on. Now that I'm older, MATURE, I am able to sit back and think about what made me angry and what the adult reaction would be.
