Explore Photography Buildings, Shadows, and more!

soft light and colors like uta barth, but a grid starts to develop on several levels, and the doubling upon doubling with shadows and mirror.

This photo is an example for space. It shows lots of negative space around the shoes and shadow. Also it shows distance within the picture.

"We all need to look into the dark side of our nature - that's where the energy is, the passion. People are afraid of that because it holds pieces of us we're busy denying."

I took this photo whilst lying on the ground looking up at the building, I made sure the 1st vertical line went along the top of the building (the roof) that overhung, I quite like how bright the sky is in this photo and how the shadows come onto the building.

I took this photo of the stairs as I thought it was really cool how just by looking down you could see how the different layers of the building were layed out and how distant the floor on the bottom becomes after the stairs wind round. I tried to keep the rule of thirds in this photo by trying to make the main box have either vertical or horizontal lines going through it, but as I was dangling over the edge trying not to drop my camera in the process, I think it turned out pretty well.
