Birth Story. "Love me. Love me. I'm not what you expected, but oh, please love me."
*This is not my story. I wish I could write this well! Our daughter's birth story is very similar and I have drawn strength and comfort from Kelle's posts, especially this one*

How Preemie Moms Are Chosen.....wish I had read this 32 years ago when God blessed me with my two premies......and then again with a third.

How Preemie Moms Are Chosen by Erma Bombeck Did you ever wonder how the mothers of premature babies are chosen? Somehow, I visualize God hovering over Earth, selecting his instruments for propagation with great care and deliberation.

Doctors said this preemie, born at 24 weeks, would only live a few minutes. Mom brought her in for what she thought would be their only cuddle, and baby came to life and SURVIVED. The power of skin-to-skin. #preemie #miracle

Doctors gave my 20oz baby up for dead ... but I saved her life with this cuddle

Dress the Barbie in pink, name her HOPE and send all proceeds from sales to a Children's Hospital. I think that is an awesome idea. Please post this if you agree, hopefully it will be seen by someone who can make a difference.

However, on closer examination of the image, we see on the left side a preserved fetus, frozen in development, somewhere between 8-11 weeks.

Sonia (left) and her sister Sharon, have both had two children who look remarkably different from each other. A rare genetic fluke means they both have one child with blonde hair and pale skin and another with brown hair and darker skin

What are the chances? Mixed race sisters have one black and one white child each by the same fathers
