Great uses for everyday items--ziploc vinegar showerhead trick does work! [Be very careful with faucets or stoppers that are dark copper--this will eat away finish. Learned the hard way]

If you have shoes that are a skosh too small, you can apparently place them in the freezer with a Ziploc bag of water inside them. Then, as the water freezes (and expands), it’ll stretch the shoes. (Or so the idea goes—I haven’t yet tried this myself.)

How to stretch shoes.

To stretch leather boots or shoes: Put alcohol on a cotton swab, dampen the inside where you want it stretched and wear the shoes with socks until dry. Doesn't take long, maybe 30 minutes. And doesn't damage the shoes.

How to break in shoes in 5 minutes: 1. Put them on over a pair of thick socks; 2. Heat them up with a blow dryer; and 3. Wear them until they cool down.

Worth a try. . .try this little trick to easily remove labels off of anything. Just stick them in the water with oxyclean and they float right up to the surface!
