Sold $375 Floral blue wash jug signed "Cowden & Wilcox Harrisburg" with the number 3 and displays an elaborate blue wash floral design on the front. Overall good condition, but the handle has been broken and re-stuck. Measures 15 1/2" and 10" diameter.
This is a beautiful and hard to find antique 19th Century 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug from H. Schuler, Paris, Ontario. Jug features a nice cobalt blue floral blossom decoration and the maker's mark is imprinted on the top front. Jug stands 12 inches tall by apprx. 7" inches wide at the base. . A nice classic specimen from this important pottery which is completely fresh to the market from the estate of an old time collector
