The Boudoir. The Boudoir was part of the apartments of Empress Maria Alexandrovna, the wife of Alexander II. The elegant decor was created in 1853 by the architect Harald Bosse, a virtuoso of interior design in the “Second Rococo” style.

Versailles, Paris If you get to Paris, I;d recommend taking a train out to Versailles Palace. It's absolutely wonderful. The tours can get pretty crowded during the summer, but it's worth it. The grounds are also quite something to see.
