Did something like this for my hair. Left loose tendrils hang around my face. The back was up a little higher and we put my headband upside down underneath it. I ended up with a very Jane Austen-esque look. It was beautiful, but buyer be warned- it took nearly 2 hours to do...

i love how it gets darker at the bottom. Only problem is my hair is short...

1| Section your side pieces of hair. 2| Pull the right side back to the left side of your head and secure with a pin. 3| Do the same with the other side, so that these piece overlap each other. 4| Repeat this as many times as you want to creat this effect! Make sure you can see where you are overlapping the hair.
