Bisphenol A (BPA) is an organic compound with the chemical formula (CH3)2C(C6H4OH)2. It is part of the bisphenols group of chemical compounds with two hydroxyphenyl functionalities. It is a colorless solid that is soluble in organic solvents, but poorly soluble in water. Having two phenol functional groups, it is used to make polycarbonate polymers and epoxy resins, along with other materials used to make plastics.

,4-Dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) is a chlorinated derivative of phenol with the molecular formula C6H4Cl2O. 2,4-DCP is used primarily as an intermediate in the preparation of the herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). Annual worldwide production is estimated at 88 million pounds.[1] It is also a photo-degradation product of the common antibacterial and antifungal agent triclosan along with the dioxin 2,8-dichlorodibenzo-p-dioxin.

Dihydropyridine is a molecule based upon pyridine, and the parent of a class of molecules that have been semi-saturated with two substituents replacing one double bond. They are particularly well known in pharmacology as L-type calcium channel blockers, used in the treatment of hypertension. Compared with Verapamil which has significant action at the heart, Dihydropyridine agents are relatively Dihydropyridine. See Amlodipine, and Piperidine.

Benzazepines are heterocyclic chemical compounds consisting of a benzene ring fused to an azepine ring.

Quinoline is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound with the chemical formula C9H7N. It is a colorless hygroscopic liquid with a strong odor.

Isoquinoline is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound. It is a structural isomer of quinoline. Isoquinoline and quinoline are benzopyridines, which are composed of a benzene ring fused to a pyridine ring.

Tetracene, also called naphthacene, is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. It has the appearance of a pale orange powder. Tetracene is the four-ringed member of the series of acenes, the previous one being anthracene (tricene) and the next one being pentacene.

1-Naphthol, or α-naphthol, is an organic compound with the formula C10H7OH.

Anthraquinone, also called anthracenedione or dioxoanthracene, is an aromatic organic compound with formula C14H8O2.

Anthracene is a solid polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon consisting of three fused benzene rings.

Phenanthrene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon composed of three fused benzene rings. The name phenanthrene is a composite of phenyl and anthracene.

Tetrahydrofuran (THF) is an organic compound with the formula (CH2)4O.

1-Benzylisoquinoline is a chemical compound, and the structural backbone of many alkaloids with a wide variety of structures, including papaverine, noscapine, codeine, morphine, apomorphine, berberine, protopine, tubocurarine, and sanguinarine.1-(Phenylmethyl)isoquinoline pictured

A β-lactam (beta-lactam) ring, is a four-membered lactam. (A lactam is a cyclic amide.) It is named as such, because the nitrogen atom is attached to the β-carbon relative to the carbonyl. The simplest β-lactam possible is 2-azetidinone.

Cyclohexane is a cycloalkane with the molecular formula C6H12.

Cyclohexane is a cycloalkane with the molecular formula C6H12.

Benzene is an organic chemical compound with the molecular formula C6H6. Its molecule is composed of 6 carbon atoms joined in a ring, with 1 hydrogen atom attached to each carbon atom. Because its molecules contain only carbon and hydrogen atoms, benzene is classed as a hydrocarbon.

Amphetamine, amfetamine (INN), is a psychostimulant drug of the phenethylamine class that produces increased wakefulness and focus in association with decreased fatigue and appetite.

In chemistry, a lactone is a cyclic ester which can be seen as the condensation product of an alcohol group -OH and a carboxylic acid group -COOH in the same molecule. It is characterized by a closed ring consisting of two or more carbon atoms, and a single endocyclic oxygen coupled with an adjacent ketone (typical ester type functional group).β-propiolactone, formed from β-hydroxypropionic acid

Naphthalene is an organic compound with formula C10H8. It is the simplest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.

1,2-Benzoquinone, also called ortho-benzoquinone or cyclohexa-3,5-diene-1,2-dione, is a ketone, with formula C6H4O2. It is one of the two isomers of quinone, the other being 1,4-benzoquinone.

1,4-Benzoquinone, commonly known as para-quinone, is a chemical compound with the formula C6H4O2.

Catechol, also known as pyrocatechol or 1,2-dihydroxybenzene, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H4(OH)2. It is the ortho isomer of the three isomeric benzenediols.

Toluene is a clear, water-insoluble liquid with the typical smell of paint thinners. It is a mono-substituted benzene derivative, i.e., one in which a single hydrogen atom from a group of six atoms from the benzene molecule has been replaced by a univalent group, in this case CH3.

Aniline, phenylamine or aminobenzene is an organic compound with the formula C6H5NH2. Consisting of a phenyl group attached to an amino group, aniline is the prototypical aromatic amine. Carcinogen? www.dmpsbackfire....
