I used to love going to some of the local places & hearing some of the local bands perform. Good music, good food, good company, .... A good time was usually had by all.

Paula Abdul - Knocked Out// I love Paula for her choreography. I wanted to be Paula when I was younger. The singing, meh. The dance routines, awesome.

8 years ago, my favorite band put on a performance that has inherently changed the way I write music, as well as perform as an individual on stage. To my opinionated eyes and ears, this concert was the most incredible performance I've had the privilege of viewing and without any hesitation, I can wholeheartedly say that I've watched segments & snippets of that night on YouTube a COUNTLESS number of times. Cheers to you gentlemen who will always hold my deepest regards. Hurray for Incubus…

May I just say that Dave Matthews has a way with music, that no other man does. His ability to play the guitar along with his song writing is amazing. Enjoy this classic of his titled "Satellite."

M83 is an electronic music band by French musician Anthony Gonzalez. It is named after a spiral galaxy, Messier 83. The band was founded in 2001 by Gonzalez and former member Nicolas Fromageau in Antibes, France. The musical style of M83 owes something to the shoegazing genre in its extensive use of reverb effects and lyrics spoken softly over loud instrumentals, although M83's songs employ considerably less guitar than most shoegazing bands.

Halestorm. Really starting to dig them, even if she IS trying way too hard to prove that she's a "badass."

Stone Temple Pilots, Core: To hear the sounds of my generation's youth performed by my generation's voices and played back to my ears over the scratch and hiss of vinyl, it just astounds me that we let them steal our music from us by peddling those little plastic discs like they were the second coming of sound. But like all second comings, that failed to be fully realized and vinyl is making a comeback on albums such as this that really pull out the basic grunginess of the music. 10/25/16
