DIY Flag  1. Wash and dry jean shorts.        2. Cut a star stencil out of the piece of cardboard   3. Paint white stars along one side of the shorts with white fabric paint. 4.Tape lines to the thickness of your choice a couple inches apart on the other side of the shorts. 5. Apply white fabric paint in the untaped areas and allow to dry. 6. Apply tape on top of white and apple red fabric paint on untaped areas and allow to dry. Voila! :)

Cutoff shorts from old jeans, then make stencil out of masking tape and then apply fabric paint. Let dry, and peel off the tape.
