Before entering the digital world, Elsa West captured her morning commute with just her eyes and then with disposable cameras. Striving to see the “soul of film” in her digital photos, West believes she is closer to this goal due to years of experimentation and practice, which have made the harmony between her inner vision and “photographic residue” more natural.
