DIY: kids would like making popsicle stick bracelets: boil in water for 15 minutes then place in cup to dry. Decorate with markers, buttons, glitter, or decoupage. CRAP it took days of soaking & trying to bend w/ out breaking the sticks. When I finally got them to bend & dry there were splinters! In the end all I did was waste craft sticks. :/

popsicle stick bow--soak at least one hour (hot water speeds the process, then notch. Bend into an arch, wedge into top of large, empty peaches can, forming a 'handle'. The edge inside the can holds the stick in place. (one can holds two sticks) When dry string with rubberband. (Bro Jack notched the popsicle stick once on each end and ran rubberband around bow and through notches, forming a semicircle, so there is only one bowstring without having to cut and tie the rubberband.
