    Writer's Workshop Conference I love this! Have an order (abc last name?) & plan/guide (this sheet... Keep all students' sheets for the year in a teacher's Wr. Workshop notebook?)- conferencing will not only happen when a kid is almost ready to publish & turn into a "teacher fix this for me" session!!!

    This second grade teacher has individual conferencing notebooks for each student. She writes observations during Readers' and Writers' Workshop. She has two baskets for storing the books. One basket is for those students who have "had" a conference and the other basket is for those students who "need" a conference.
