I love this idea. I'm going to put it on my Smartboard during silent reading for now, until I can take pictures of my own kids reading and make my own : )

To become fluent readers students need to do a lot of silent reading that they find interesting! (Graves, 2011, p. 4) Fluency is not only in oral reading but also silent reading (Graves, 2011, p. 224). Children begin to comprehend more with silent reading as well as reading out loud.

Summer Reading Log: reminds me of the journals I used to make out of composition books. The inside rating system and the READ letters are in the crafts folder on the laptop. This would be fun to give the class as a end of the year gift.

Stamina! A visual for independent reading at the beginning of the year! Color in the longer we can read! This would be cool to put in individual folders for students to keep in their desks to pull out once a week or so.
