Amazing man. A quote from his beautiful book, "Night" Which he wrote about his experience with his father in the Nazi German concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald in at the height of the Holocaust toward the end of the Second World War.
This poem has always spoken to me. It's like a promise and encouragement from God. I am not that far gone, and He has a plan for me to get me right where I need to be, as broken and tarnished as I may feel sometimes.
I think this is often true, but not always. You may be having a perfectly good day and then suddenly find yourself in a hellish situation. Learning to detach yourself and observe, goes along way to maintaining a peaceful existence.
My whole goal in life right here. This is the lifestyle I would choose for myself. If you're not living in a way that makes life interesting, creative, and peaceful then what are you really doing? Wasting your life I say. If only one didn't need money...
"A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it just blooms." --- Everything is you and God thing, and there is nobody else involved. So comparing or competing is just waste of time. Keep focusing on yourself, focusing of loving yourself.
It hurts because it mattered. YOU MATTER...AMEN! Berating yourself because you're hurting is not helpful and serves no good purpose and will not let you heal. Use this to tell yourself YOU MATTER and when a friend needs to hear it, tell them THEY MATTER.
