Eagle Brand - Sweet Condensed Milk (which when boiled in the can for 8 hours) produces a thick caramel. Do NOT let the boiling water go below the level of the can or it will explode! It's a mess you will never forget. Use your crockpot, on HIGH, 8 hours of boiling. Cool before opening or it will explode then, too!
