Boston Cream Poke Cake - this is super easy to make. Be sure to poke your holes and pour the pudding over it before the pudding sets up. I usually run a knife around the edges of the cake too so that the pudding runs down the side. Refrigerate it for 30 mins to let the pudding set up before pouring the icing on. This is VERY good!

One her site she actually has a few different variations on this cake. I did one of those. I made a yellow cake and poked holes in it and poured banana pudding over it. I frosted it with whipped cream and crushed vanilla wafers on it. I took it to a family dinner and everyone loved it! I will definately make this one often.
Okay. I'm not a fan of artificial banana-flavored anything(even my banana pudding recipe has vanilla pudding in it, NOT banana), but this looked really good so I tried it. It was super easy and actually really yummy, even with the fake banana taste of the pudding. I was thrilled to see a recipe for a Boston cream poke cake on the blog as well. I'll be trying it next.
