You don’t need a fancy kit or special pots to start your own seeds.  All you need are some newspapers. Then you’ll have dozens of biodegradable pots ready for your favorite plants. I've been doing this for years but I don't need tape because I tuck the end in.

wow, isn't this clever? If I actually get around to planting anything, this is how I'll do it. Much nicer than plastic.
