First Week Of School Activities... I like the idea of classmates interviewing each other. I don't think I would do this on the FIRST day... but maybe later in the week.

I give each of the kids a page with a different idiom on it and then we put all the pages together to make a class book. They love to check it out from the book bin!

My figurative language unit is by far the most fun in our classroom...the 6th and 7th graders laughed all period..and learned a ton
