Another before-and-after, here’s Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom’s cover to CAPTAIN MARVEL #29 as drawn, and then as printed with Mar-Vell’s face and head retouched by John Romita. This figure ended up on a lot of the Marvel merchandise of the period as I recall.
