This is the coolest gifts I've seen in awhile. Make your own View-Master reel picture card with your pictures! Announce an adoption or pregnancy. Can purchase the reels with or without the view master. Love this idea.

viewmaster! Takes me back to when grandma and grandpa had their house across the street. (bittersweet sigh)

The View Master.one of my very favorite toys as a kid. I could sit and look at the pictures for a long time! Everything from scenery to Disney caracters, and everything in between.

When I was a kid...this was my internet. Oh the places I would travel to.

Long before computers, Blu-Ray's, and video games, Viewmaster's could entertain kids for hours. I was one of those kids! I loved my viewmaster

So……how many of you can remember the View-Master? I can’t because it was before my time. I remember being a little girl and quite fascinated by the view-master. I could travel the world sitting on the sofa and not having.

Pretty Sure mine looked like the one from Toy Story!

Do you remember the View Master? Love the View Master, Mom still has one at home.

What about using yardsticks as a ceiling treatment...would look similar to this in shape and coloring, but would have the nostalgia of a "school house" feel...appropriate for a quaint library.

We love everything about this window-filled corner, not to mention the view. The picture window maximizes the view, while the double-hungs give ventilation. We also love the low built-in book cases that have function as window seats.

Look at this floor and the view from that window. That is not the view in my basement though.

This picture again from the Newcastle Libraries flickr set shows two children like the brother and sister in the play, playing in North Shields in the early 1960s. The view of South Shields across the river still has many features visible today.
