Yes! I have been teaching my girls this for years (thanks to MY mentor mom yrs. ago) but have never seen it written. I always say...Is it TRUE? Is it NICE? Is it NECESSARY? This quote is pretty close :)

Nick Cholewa 11/19: I thought this was a funny poster that could be put in a classroom. I know with the younger ages, a lot of the kids enjoy tattling on the other kids, so this may help to put that to a minimum.
Our principal kicked off our faculty meeting at the beginning of the school year by sharing the book ‘What Great Teachers Do Differently’ by Todd Whitaker. He underlined a portion of the book and wrote in the margins how it applied to a teacher in our school. It was then that teacher’s job to read it over the following two weeks, annotate a section that applied to a great teacher of her choosing and pass it on. We share these at each meeting.
