i have way to many glass vases may as well try this for a different look, and can stuff things inside them too Cover old vases with jute >> Easy, peasy and so pretty!

its amazing what a cheap vase and a little twine can do. Made this one afternoon when I needed to do a craft. Stuck some fake yellow mums in it, tied a golden ribbon braided with extra twine in a bow, and voila, I had a fall-ish pretty thing to put on my end table upstairs. Pretty foolproof, and most people have hot glue and plenty of ugly glass vases hanging about.

Jars wrapped in yarn, then spray painted white

Glass jars, twine, spray paint—voila! So pretty! Personally I'd skip the ribbon, and for our purposes I think I'd opt for colored candles, maybe. I wonder what kind of jars these are, they look smoother than mason jars. I'm sure just regular glass candle holders would work, right?

glass jars + twine + spray paint... you could even use frosted glass spray... and rubberbands would make a cleaner line too! Get creative! :)

Wine bottle crafts. Love this. As my budget does not allow me to indulge in such luxuries as decorative vases - THIS is such a good idea!! Drink wine - get expensive looking vase. WIN WIN!! Haha. Am going to enjoy this DIY project.

This project is better suited for transparent glass bottle but colored ones could also be used. The idea is to use tape to create a pattern. The areas covered with tape will remain clear and transparent. After you apply the tape you just have to spray paint the bottle. After you remove the tape, the pattern will become visible. #DIY #Wine #Bottles #Crafts #Ideas
