At her 1953 wedding reception, Jackie Kennedy dances with her new father-in-law, Joseph P. Kennedy. Jackie and JFK's father would become close over the years. Her own father, Jack Bouvier, missed her wedding ceremony completely after getting drunk in his hotel room (stepfather Hugh Auchincloss walked Jackie down the aisle).
