a secret I leaned waaaay back when I was 14, from a book by Marie Osmond, is to put a square of tissue (TP) under your bottom lashes and apply mascara...you get root to tip, and all the excess is on the tissue! BRILLIANT! I have been doing this trick for over 30 years! :D
