In other words, try to only listen to the positive voices in your head. Unless they're telling you you can fly, and the negative voices are saying, "No, you idiot, you can't." Then you should listen to the negative voices, because you aren't a bird. At least, you weren't the last time I checked. If you've mutated into a bird since I last saw you, you really should have let me know.
some of the 'basics' are SO expensive though... A safe and warm home, a small cushion after the basic food, water, electricity, insurance are paid... Those are very hard to come by these days for so many of us. Forty hours a week should be and to me seems, more than enough (though when I had the opportunity I worked far more). An ideal life to me would be a home paid for, and the basics, and only work 30 hours per week - those ten extra hours can really make life easier.
