Deeply disturbing and convincing, this surely makes you think about your eating habits.

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer. This isn't a vegan book and I don't agree with the author's position of "vegetarianism" (sigh); but I know that it has turned many people to veganism so I guess that makes it worth reading.

Goes into more detail than Supersize Me does. Too bad the movie version of this sucked so bad, but you won't want to go to McDonald's ever again.

A fantastic book that will undoubtedly have insurmountable and immeasurable benefits for your life based on the food choices you make on a daily basis. This book was written by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, a board-certified family physician and nutritional researcher who has a medical practice in Flemington, NJ. He has helped thousands of people overcome disease, and he can help you too! I recommend this book! Check out his About Me:

Exceptional, no nonsense, super informational and highly, highly entertaining.

Still reading but probably one of the best books I have read in a long time. It's very offbeat and quirky and the author has a compelling way of tying in beauty, sadness, charm, and nostalgia all together. I just finished "Everything is Illuminated", also by him, I think he's a new favorite.
