Avian Apartments - The 'Super Kingdom' birdhouse exhibit is sort of an ultra high-density condo community for the aviary set.

London's Secret Garden Project; "bring high quality art projects and events to London’s public realm; raise awareness of the ecological and cultural value of urban green space; encourage an understanding and engagement with ecology and biodiversity, create opportunities for community engagement and collaboration and encourage innovation."

Manuka (New Zealand native tea tree) bark. From the manuka tree comes viscous honey that is highly antibacterial.  This particular tree grows on the hill above my aunt's farm.   I used monochrome for this image as I wanted to emphasise the texture which was particularly interesting - rather like torn paper.
