It’s International Assistance Dog Week. According to the IADW website, the week was created to recognize all the devoted, hardworking assistance dogs helping individuals mitigate their disability-related limitations.
We were asked to help a lady who had noticed a lactating mother dog. She needed help locating the pups and capturing the elusive mom. She had been feeding the dogs for three weeks and had seen the mom go under the shed, so she had a fairly good idea that the babies were there, although she had no idea about how many there may be or how old they were.
