Boophis bottae mesure environ 24 mm. Son dos est vert clair tirant sur le jaunâtre sur les flancs ; une ligne longitudinale jaune parcourt le dos jusqu'aux membres antérieurs, parfois l'ensemble du dos. Des motifs de couleur brun roux, noir, rouge brillant et jaune, complète sa livrée. Son ventre est transparent.
This tiny frog is also known as the strawberry poison arrow frog. The adults are between 2 and 2.5 cm long (3/4-1 inch). The males are very territorial and patrol it defending it from other mating or calling males, non-breeding males, and of course females, are allowed in.
The Marbled Reed Frog or Painted Reed Frog, Hyperolius Marmoratus, is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe & possibly Botswana, Lesotho & Tanzania. It occurs in a wide range of natural habitats, including forest, savanna, shrubland, grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes & intermittent freshwater lakes. It coexists well with humans and is also found in, pastureland, rural gardens and urban areas.
The Waxy Monkey Tree Frog, Phyllomedusa Sauvagii, is a hylid frog belonging to the subfamily of South and Central American leaf frogs, Phyllomedusinae that inhabits the Chaco (dry prairie) of Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. The subfamily consists of around 50 species in three well-known genera, Phyllomedusa, Agalychnis and Pachymedusa. The vast majority of known species, including Phyllomedusa Sauvagei, belong to the Phyllomedusa genus.
