This is a report of the dining hall transfer plan. Byron Erickson, director of residence hall said the feedback from the students was very positive. One of the interesting thing is that the number of lunches per week transferred was less than double the number of students transferred.

Miss Mary Schlenck had became the director since 1921. She is the first person at Miami to hold the title of "Cashier". Mrs. Hilda Cantrell Wright joined the staff in 1941 as Manager of Wells Hall. Miss Brackney daily visited to the dining units to inspect food quality the the General standard of service.
