If you make homemade spaghetti sauce, turn the heat down to a slow simmer, add the meatballs, and allow them to cook in the sauce for about 3 hours. They are the most delicious meatballs you will ever have!! Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs - Easy basic recipe; blend 1 c bread crumbs/1 LB ground round, 1 egg, any spices you like (garlic, italian seasoning, onion powder), and a tablespoon of milk. Fry up (or bake) tablespoon-sized meatballs. Pour sauce into pan with meatballs, add cooked spaghetti, heat through. Add grated parmesan to each plate at serving.
