Search your bathroom cabinets and find a spray bottle with a fine mist. Clean it really well. Fill the bottle about 3/4 full with warm water, and add a couple healthy spoonfuls of sea salt. . Shake things up to dissolve the salt. Then fill the remaining space in the bottle with a water-based hair gel. Shake it again. Done and done.
One pinner said: I will no longer waste money on Crest Whitestrips! Arm Hammer Whitening Booster is meant to be used when brushing your teeth. I use a q-tip and coat my teeth with it and leave it for only 10 minutes (since it claims to be 3x stronger than strips) once a day...seriously you'll notice a difference in 2 days! Be careful if you're sensitive! This would be interesting to try
Just found this recipe on Pinterest. I adjusted the amounts so you get a bigger batch of Ocean Salt. Mix it up and store it in a little container. I plan on trying this in a few days. Fresh out of vodka in my household.
IT DIDN'T WORK - THE COCONUT OIL ENDED UP JUST FLOATING TO THE TOP AND HARDENING AFTER THE FIRST DAY. DIY beach hair: 1tbs coconut oil, 1 cup warm/hot water (to melt coconut oil), 2 tbs alcohol, 2 tbs sea salt (not table salt), 1 tbs hair gel. You can add more sea salt if you have oily hair, dont skip the alcohol makes the spray last longer and helps break down your hairs natural oil build up>>> I might try this one but with orange peel "hair spray" rather than gel
