This is Japan’s odd couple… The monkeys ride on the capybara’s backs and kiss the world’s largest rodents, who tolerate their tricks. But in the wild, their paths do not cross — capybara’s live on river banks while the monkeys live in forests.
Lemur Family – The ring-tailed lemur is a large strepsirrhine primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the Lemur genus
Satanic Leaf-tailed Gecko ~ Uroplatus phantasticus ~ The smallest of 12 species of bizarre-looking leaf-tailed geckos. The nocturnal creature has extremely cryptic camouflage so it can hide out in the forests of Madagascar.
Not an uncommon sight when you visit Yellowstone in the winter months. The fox and coyote will listen for a mouse or vole below the snow . and then dive down to catch their dinner. My dog does this too:)
