Tin can herb garden. Small enough for kitchen windowsill, definitely basil, parsley, cilantro.

Great reuse of tins!! One of my Fav breakfast joints in Duluth (New London Road Cafe) uses these for creamers and kids crayons. Kinda want to steal but I won't but I'll totally steal this idea.

Fresh herbs are a healthy way to add flavor to just about any meal. Grow your own indoor garden in containers

I just love this unique idea of displaying succulents in ladles, perfect for kitchen windows

How To Make Mason Jar Planters

Done in 5 minutes - Easy way to have herbs in the kitchen! Line the bottom of a mason jar with glass beads or marbles, then layer in potting mix, and then add the plant, and top with more glass beads. The photo shows Alyssum and Rosemary - and while Alyssum may seem like an odd choice for an "herb garden" it would be pretty in a kitchen, and does well with irregular watering - always important!

Wow! This is a clever idea. Instead of throwing away coffee cans, you can always use it as a flower pot! It gives your garden a nice and pretty design and also lets you save money! One of my favorite gardening ideas.
